Celebrating and promoting the culture and heritage of the Slavic people of the Central Valley
Our 2024-25 Scholarship Fund Raising Drive is making great strides! We are 2/3 of the way to our goal! 67 lights are shining brightly!
There is still ample time for you to be a part of our effort - send your tax deductible donation to help light our Scholarship Tree and help light the futures of our graduating high school seniors and beginning college students. Each $50 in donations will illuminate 1 light on the tree; Our our is to raise $5,000 between November 30, 2024 and January 12, 2025. Who knows?? Perhaps we will be able to also light the star and add garland! Let's make this the most beautiful tree yet !! Read more about this fund-raising effort here. Thank You, Donors ! Once again we celebrate a very successful Light the Tree Scholarship Campaign and offer our members sincere thanks for your generosity. We raised a total of $5,075 for our scholarship fund to fully light our tree! Isn’t our tree lovely? We had fun watching our tree grow and glow with brightness ... because we know it’s not about the “tree” … but rather what the tree represents … members working together for the futures of our young people! With the costs of higher education consistently on the rise, it is a privilege for ASAA to assist our young scholars in their academic pursuits. In the last 8 years our ASAA Scholarship Program has given over $45,000 to 23 entering college students who have attended 16 different colleges and Universities, preparing for successful careers in over 16 areas of study. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and accomplishments. And we are profoundly appreciative of your willingness to partner together with the ASAA sponsored Tom and Martha Slaven Scholarship Program. You have helped us insure that our support of our students, and their educational dreams will continue! Hvala ! |
